While waxing is at the heart of what we offer today, Natural Glow is about so much more than hair removal. Waxing 101

Whether it’s your first wax ever or just your first time with us, we want you to feel comfortable, confident, and prepared.

Here’s everything you need to know before, during, and after your appointment.

  1. Prep

Come ready for your smoothest results.

For the best wax, allow your hair to grow to about ¼ inch long roughly the length of a grain of rice.

This usually means avoiding shaving for about 2–3 weeks before your appointment.

Before your wax:

  1. Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours beforehand.
  2. Arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions, oils, or heavy products.
  3. Wear loose, comfortable clothing when possible.
  4. Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning before your appointment.
  5. Let your esthetician know about any medications, topical products, recent skin treatments, or sensitivities that may affect your service.

And don’t stress first-time nerves are completely normal. We’ll walk you through everything.


2.Wax

Get comfortable. You’re in good hands.

Your appointment begins with a quick consultation so we can talk about your skin, hair growth, previous waxing experience, and any concerns you may have.

From there, your esthetician will guide you through the service and make your experience as comfortable as possible. You’re always welcome to ask questions, speak up, or let us know if you need a moment.

Our goal is simple: a clean, comfortable experience and beautifully smooth results.

3.Glow

Protect that fresh wax.

Your skin may be slightly sensitive immediately after waxing, so give it a little extra love for the next 24–48 hours.

After your appointment:

  1. Avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, and excessive heat.
  2. Skip intense workouts and activities that cause heavy sweating for the first 24 hours.
  3. Avoid pools, hot tubs, and prolonged sun exposure.
  4. Keep freshly waxed areas clean and avoid unnecessary friction.
  5. Wait approximately 48 hours before gently exfoliating again.
  6. Continue regular exfoliation and moisturizing between appointments to help prevent ingrown hairs.

For the best long-term results, stay consistent with your waxing schedule and avoid shaving between appointments.


Cancellation Policy:



We understand that life happens! To respect our time and the time of every client, please review our appointment policies carefully before booking.


DEPOSITS


A deposit is required for all appointments at the time of booking. Your appointment is not secured until the required deposit has been paid.


Your deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your scheduled service.


CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING


We kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.


Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before your appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee and/or forfeiture of your deposit.

You will only be able to reschedule once after your original appointment. 


LATE ARRIVALS


Please plan to arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.


If you arrive  15 minutes late or later, you will be considered a NO-SHOW. Your appointment will be canceled, and  your deposit will be forfeited.


If you know you are going to be late, please contact us as soon as possible. However, contacting us does not guarantee that we will be able to accommodate a late arrival.


NO-SHOWS


If you do not arrive for your scheduled appointment or arrive 15 minutes late or later , you will be considered a no-show.


All deposits are non-refundable in the event of a no-show. Your deposit will be kept and will not be transferred to a future appointment.


No-shows may also be charged up to 100% of the scheduled service, and a new deposit will be required to book another appointment.


BOOKING AGREEMENT


By booking an appointment with Natural Glow Esthetics,  you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to our deposit, cancellation, rescheduling, late-arrival, and no-show policies.


Your time matters, and so does ours. Thank you for respecting our schedule and helping us provide every client with the quality care and experience they deserve.
