The Art of Reconnecting

A Class for Improving Relationships

Are you in a relationship that could benefit from more intentional, nourishing touch? Do you ever feel like your partner doesn’t quite understand how you want or need to be touched? Many people haven’t been taught even basic anatomy or how to offer touch that feels supportive rather than draining. Mixed signals, unspoken expectations, and a lack of understanding can quietly become obstacles to relationship growth. If you notice resistance around touch, difficulty communicating your needs, or uncertainty about how to give and receive touch without pressure or expectation, this class is for you.

Facilitators:

- Dr. Delores Stephens, a Naturopathic Physician specializing in connecting body, mind and spirit utilizing her years of experience in respiratory therapy, massage therapy, naturopathic medicine, grief recovery, ayurvedic medicine and more to bring to you a deeper understanding of connection with your partner.

- Jakob Nayar is a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in trauma-informed, body-respectful massage therapy. His work centers on consent, safety, and attuned presence. Jakob’s intuitive approach supports deep relaxation and reconnection, allowing individuals to feel truly at home in their bodies.

Join us for a 2-hour experience at the SHI Center, a collaborative space where both facilitators practice. Alongside four other couples, you’ll share an evening dedicated to reconnection, self-awareness, and healing touch.
