I booked an appointment online, how do I know that it went through?

When you schedule an appointment either online or by calling the spa, you will always receive either a text and/or email to confirm the details of your appointment. We will also call our clients the day prior to their appointment to confirm the appointment, if they have not already done so online. If you are unsure if your appointment went through our Vagaro system online, please call the spa at (207) 725-1233 to verify!

What is your cancellation policy?

Why do you require credit cards to be kept on file for appointments?

Out of respect for our service providers, if a client is deemed a "no-show" to their appointment, they will be charged with a corresponding fee. We want to ensure that our service providers are equitably compensated for the time lost that they could have dedicated to another client.

What time should I arrive to my appointment?

If you are a new client or are receiving a treatment for the first time, please arrive 1o minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out the necessary paperwork.

How is your pricing structure determined?

As service providers, all of our services (particularly hair services and waxing) are subject to increased or decreased price changes, due to the nature of the service. For example, if someone has a larger volume of hair that requires more time and product, the service price will increase correspondingly. If you have any questions about this, please inquire with your service provider BEFORE your service begins.

Waxing Care: Pre and Post?

If you are receiving a waxing service on your face (brows, lips, or chin) please discontinue use of harsh active ingredients (such as retinol, tretinoin, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic/mandelic acids etc.) 48 hours prior to your appointment to reduce the chances of skin being lifted. To ensure the most successful body waxing appointment, please allow hair to grow out to at least a 1/4 of an inch. If you are receiving a waxing service such as a underarm, Brazilian, or leg wax, please wear a loose top/pants and cotton underwear to your appointment to reduce the chance of irritation as a result of friction. After your wax appointment, please avoid the following for 48 hours post treatment to ensure the best results: wearing tight clothes around the area waxed, exposing the waxed skin to direct sunlight, using heavily fragranced body care products, excess sweating, exfoliating products, and swimming.

Facial Care: Pre and Post?

Before you receive a facial treatment, please discontinue use of active ingredients (such as retinol, tretinoin, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic/mandelic acids etc.) in your skincare routine 48 hours before your service. Please be sure to notify us about any allergies or health conditions that may interfere with your facial treatment. If you are receiving a treatment such as a peel, please wear an SPF of at least 30 and avoid direct sunlight for at least 72 hours after your service. Please avoid wearing makeup 24 hours after your facial to allow your skin to breathe! If you experience an allergic reaction to your treatment, please call us as soon as possible to discuss how to treat it. And based on severity, please call your doctor if you experience a worrisome reaction.

How should I proceed with a treatment if I am pregnant or have a health condition that may interfere with my service?

Please let us know if you are pregnant, have had any recent major surgeries, or have a health condition/allergies that require special care so we can provide our services to suit you best!

What should I wear to my massage or facial?

Please arrive to your massage or facial appointment with loose clothing to make the dressing process as simple for you as possible! Please remove any jewelry (earrings, necklaces, rings) or watches prior to your appointment. You will be provided with a spa wrap during your facial, and you can remove your pants or keep them on, whatever is most comfortable for you. If possible, please arrive to your facial without any makeup on to make the best use of your time! If you are receiving a massage, we recommend removing all clothing to allow your massage therapist to have the best access to the areas requiring treatment, but it is ultimately up to your comfort level to decide what you wear during your treatment. 

What should I know before I receive a chemical peel?

A chemical peel is a deep exfoliating treatment that removes dead skin that requires thorough care before and after your treatment. Please discontinue use of harsh active skincare products and ingredients (such as retinol, tretinoin, benzoyl peroxide, glycolic/salicylic/mandelic acids etc.) 72 hours prior and after your peel. Please avoid wearing makeup 72 hours after your peel to allow your skin to breathe and heal! After the treatment, some people may peel up to 7 days, some make flake for a couple of days, some people may not have any obvious peeling, as results are dependent upon your individual skin type. Be sure to follow our PEEL AFTERCARE process to ensure the best healing process for your skin. What should I do before a lash lift or tint?

Please arrive to your lash appointment with lashes that are free of mascara, and if you wear contacts, please remove them before your appointment begins.
