What service would you recommend for first time clients?

Our 60 minute Root Revival is the perfect treatment to start off with. 

How often should I get a Scalp Spa?

For optimal scalp and hair wellness, we recommend treatments every 4-5 weeks, though frequency may vary based on individual needs.

What products do you use and are they good for all skin and hair types?

High-quality organic products, always free from artificial dyes and fragrances, silicones, parabens, sulfates (SLS/ SLES), carcinogens, gluten, dairy, phthalates, phosphates, sodium lauryl sulfate, mineral oil/ petroleum derived ingredients and PEGs. If there are any concerns please check with your physician.

Will this affect my hair color?

No, our services are thoughtfully designed to be safe for color treated hair, using gentle, non-stripping formulations that help preserve vibrancy while supporting overall scalp health. 

Can I have a treatment done if I have extensions, dreadlocks or braids?

Please feel free to contact me so we can discuss further.

Would it be appropriate to visit if I have thinning hair or balding hair?

Yes and it will be beneficial. Detoxing, circulating, and gentle care on your hair. Helping prevent any more shedding/ hair loss by removing product buildup, lowering scalp inflammation, and slowly strengthening broken/ damaged hair from harsh handling with heat.

Are treatments safe during pregnancy?

Yes, but for your safety, babies safety and comfort, we recommend to come in before the middle of your second trimester (20 weeks). Our treatments involve lying on your back for an extended period of time, which may affect circulation. Please consult your physician if any concerns.

Can someone under the age of 18 receive a Scalp Spa?

Yes, with a parent or guardian present and a signature on the Service Consent Form is required.

Are services open for men as well?

Yes, we welcome all! Most men also experience hair loss and appreciate relaxation from their day to day activities. Our services are for anyone seeking intentional scalp and hair care.

Will my hair be wet after my service?

Yes, there are many benefits from letting your hair air dry after getting a Scalp Spa. Some being allowing all the products to soak in or giving your scalp time to recover from the removal of build up and the detox you are going to go through. * Feel free to bring a hat or head covering *

Will Scalp Spa organic products adversely affect my prescription medication?

We use clean, non-invasive products that are not known to impact prescription medications. Out of an abundance of care, we recommend checking with your physician if you have any specific sensitivities or concerns. 

What should I wear to my experience?

We provide a comfortable wrap gown for you to change into before starting your treatment. The best outfit would be breathable clothing. 

What should I do if I feel any discomfort during or after my treatment?

If you experience any dizziness, discomfort or concerns during your appointment, please let your Headspanist know immediately so we can care to your needs and make any necessary adjustments.

Do we accept walk-ins?

No, unfortunately we do not take walk-ins. We are scheduled by appointment only and all sessions must be booked in advance to ensure availability.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is unpaid street parking conveniently located near the suite and there is a parking structure near by.

What is your cancellation policy? Running late?

We kindly ask for 48hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Late appointments 15 minutes or more or no-shows will be subject to 100% of service selected. If you are running late, please contact the spa directly.
