What Is Haircut Therapy™?

Haircut Therapy™ is a sensory-informed, trauma-aware approach to grooming designed for children with autism, sensory processing differences, or a history of difficult haircut experiences. Created with clinician input and rooted in lived experience, it bridges a critical gap in care for families who need a gentler, trust-building alternative to traditional salon visits.

How I Partner With Clinics

I provide on-site, individualized haircut or desensitization sessions in your clinical setting. Each visit is paced and personalized to support emotional regulation, trust, and nervous system safety—never forced or rushed.

"It was an amazing event for me and my son. I love that myself and my son had so much support while getting his first hair cut."

"We had a wonderful experience with haircut therapy, Miss Tracy, and the High Pointe team. We are so grateful that Joshua was able to get a great haircut without stressing him out, but it was about much more than that. We love that you viewed this session as therapy, and the first step in the process of equipping these kids with an important life skill for their future. We hope there will be more to come."
