What do I wear in the red light therapy bed?
You may undress to your comfort level. Many people will wish to go nude, some will prefer to wear undergarments. Red light and near infrared light cannot penetrate clothing, so make sure you expose the body parts that you wish to target.
Do I need to wear eye protection?
Yes. We require all individuals to use eye protection when using the red light therapy bed.
Does Red Light tan you?
No. UV is required to produce a tan, Red Light is a different part of the light spectrum than UVA and UVB. However, doing a Red Light Therapy session immediately prior to your tanning session will intensify your tanning results.
How should I prepare for a red light session?
You will get the best results if your face is clean and free from makeup. You do not want to have any SPF products on your skin. SPF products can block light therapy from penetrating the skin. It is also ideal to use products that are designed for red light therapy. We offer several products that will enhance your results and help you to achieve your desired goals faster.
Do I need to make an appointment?
No. We do not accept appointments, so you can feel free to drop by whenever is most convenient for you; as long as you arrive within our listed service hours, you will be served.
How often should I use the red light therapy bed?
To achieve the best results, we advise using red light therapy 3 times per week. If possible, using red light therapy every other day yields the best results. Using red light therapy more than the recommended frequency is not advisable and may hinder the processes that provide wellness benefits.
Is red light safe?
There have been thousands of studies on the effects of red light on the body. Red light has been consistently shown to have little or no adverse effects. If you have a preexisting medical condition or a specific medical question, you should consult with a medical professional prior to use.
Can I use red light therapy and tan or spray tan on the same day?
Yes! If used on the same day, red light therapy must be used prior to any other service. Using red light therapy prior to tanning or spray tanning will enhance your overall results and the longevity of your tan.
Who should not use red light and near infrared?
If you have a specific medical condition, you should consult a medical professional prior to use. Individuals with certain medical conditions should not use red light therapy unless they have consulted with a physician, these conditions include: Pregnant and Nursing women, Cancer, Epilepsy, Liver or Kidney disorders, Pacemakers or Heart conditions, Immunosuppressed.
