Yes—imports depend on what data your current software allows you to export. If certain required fields aren’t included in those reports, we may not be able to complete every part of the import. And if your software doesn’t allow data exports at all, that can limit what’s possible.
That said, our team has access to scraping tools that can sometimes help build reports when standard exports aren’t available. This option depends on how the data is structured and accessible, so while it isn’t guaranteed, we’ll always explore what’s possible.
An import is all about bringing your existing data into Vagaro. We’ll review what information you’d like transferred, confirm what’s available from your current software, and set clear expectations around what can be imported and how long it will take.
Onboarding focuses on helping you feel at home in Vagaro. It includes a guided walkthrough of core features, everyday workflows, and best practices so you can confidently use the system moving forward.
Never. Vagaro will not delete any data from your previous software or close your existing account.
Our team works best with Excel files, such as CSV or XLSX. PDFs can also be used, as long as the data is clearly organized and can be easily converted into Excel.
You can request an import or onboarding directly from your Vagaro Pro account. Simply log in, head to the Settings menu, and select Import Management under the Business section. From there, choose the import type that fits your needs and follow the on-screen prompts to get started. We’ll guide you every step of the way.
Your import appointment will take about 30–40 minutes. After that, the import itself typically takes 1–3 days to complete.
Yes! While it’s ideal to request within the first 90 days of signing up, there’s no limitation—you’re welcome to request an import or onboarding at any time.
