Here’s how it works:


Fill out the form:

  1. Click the BOOK NOW button below to share your tattoo idea. Give us details about the design you want, where on your body, how big, and upload any pictures for inspiration.

Pick an artist:

  1. Choose which artist you want to work with. Not sure? Select “Surprise Me,” and we’ll pair you with someone great.

Send the form:

  1. After you submit, your artist will email you within 3 days with an estimate and a booking link.

Book your spot:

  1. Use the link to pick a date and time. Pay a 30% deposit to hold your appointment. This goes toward your tattoo’s cost.

Get tattooed:

  1. Come in for your appointment. Pay the rest when we’re done, based on how long it took. Important: If your tattoo takes longer, your artist will talk to you. We might need another session, but we’ll always discuss extra time or costs first.

How do I book a tattoo appointment?

Fill out our booking request form with info about your design, the size, and the location on your body. Upload inspiration pics if you have them, choose your artist, then click submit. We'll email you within 3 business days with a quote and a booking link. 

How do I book a piercing appointment?

Piercings are walk-in only, so you don't need an appointment. Just come into the shop anytime during business hours and one of our body piercers can take care of you. If you have specific questions about piercings, please visit our Piercing Info page or call the shop at (336) 270-4825.

How do I choose a tattoo artist?

You can view a selection of our artists' portfolios here on our website, or you can check out their Instagram accounts for more pictures of their previous work. If you see someone whose work you like, choose their name from the list of artists on the booking request form.

What if I can't decide which artist to choose?

No problem! Just select "Surprise Me" on the booking form and we'll match you with someone great.

What is the deposit for?

The deposit is 30% of the tattoo cost. It saves your spot and is part of the total price.

Can I get my deposit back?

Deposits are nonrefundable, but we are able to transfer them once. If you need to change your appointment, let us know at least 48 hours before, and we can move it to another date. Your deposit will transfer to the new date. If you need to reschedule a second time, your original deposit will be forfeit, and you will have to pay a new deposit.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

We understand that life happens, and you may not be able to keep your original appointment. If you aren't able to reschedule and you must cancel, your deposit will not be refunded. We encourage you to reschedule if possible, to avoid losing your deposit.

How do you figure out the final price of the tattoo?

The cost of a tattoo is based on 2 main factors: the size, and the level of detail in the design. Our tattoo artists charge by the hour for their services, so they calculate the amount of time a tattoo will take to complete, and multiply it by their hourly rate.

What if my tattoo doesn't take as long as you thought?

We only charge for the amount of time we actually use. For example, if we quoted you 4 hours and your tattoo only took 3 hours to complete, you will only be charged for 3 hours.

What if my tattoo takes longer than you thought?

If your tattoo is going to take longer than the time you were originally quoted, your artist will talk to you about it. You can decide to keep going (time permitting) or to come back another day to finish. You won't be charged for extra time without a conversation with the artist.

Do I need to bring anything with me to my appointment?

You don't have to bring anything but yourself! Make sure to wear comfy clothes that are easy to move or take off so we can access the tattoo area. Feel free to bring snacks, a blanket, headphones, or anything else you might like to have during the tattoo.

Can I bring a friend with me to my appointment?

Absolutely. We want you to be comfortable during your tattoo session, and if you need a buddy to keep you company, that's totally cool. While one friend is cool, please check with your artist before bringing multiple people. We have limited space in the studio, and for safety reasons we may not be able to accommodate a large group
