Our salon policies and procedures are an essential part of ensuring that every visit with us meets your expectations and allows our staff to have a sustainable and secure career. These policies, encompassing aspects such as booking, late arrivals, cancellations, and deposits, are fundamental to maintaining smooth operations and a harmonious environment for all. All policies are non-negotiable.


We understand that life is full of unexpected turns, and we've designed our policies to accommodate those while protecting the livelihood of our hardworking staff. Navigating the balance between flexibility for our clients and security for our team is a take we undertake with utmost seriousness.

All Services rendered by Alchemy Salon & Spa's Salon Stylists and Independent Stylists are provided on a non-refundable basis.

Card On File Policy

When booking any service, a form of payment is required to be kept on file to finalize any scheduled service. Your card will be a placeholder for your service and will not be charged unless a violation of policy occurs.

We reserve the right to charge your card on file if under any circumstance you violate our policies stated.

Non-Refundable Deposit Policy

When scheduling any service over $200, a non-refundable deposit must be made at the time of booking. This non-refundable deposit will go toward your service total the day of your scheduled service. If this is the case for your scheduled service, you'll receive a "Non-refundable Deposit Form" with more information and instructions. 


In the event that you reschedule or cancel your appointment, your non-refundable deposit will be forfeited and a new non-refundable deposit must be made to rebook.

Late Arrival Policy

Please note that every service has a specific allotted time frame. In the event that you’re running behind, please reach-out to us or your stylist.


The late arrival cut off for any service is 10 minutes after the scheduled start time.

In the event of a late arrival and your stylist’s availability permits accommodating you, it may change the service you’ll receive depending on the remainder of the time scheduled. You will still have to pay the cost of the original scheduled service.


Should you be later than 10 minutes to your scheduled service and your stylist cannot accommodate you, your service will then count as a cancellation and you will be charged our rescheduling/cancellation fee or if your service included a non-refundable deposit, that non-refundable deposit will then be forfeited and a new non-refundable deposit must be made to rebook.


Rescheduling/Cancellation Policy

72 hrs before your service, you’ll receive a confirmation message (via email/text) from Vagaro about your scheduled service.


48 hrs before, if you have not confirmed your service via Vagaro, you’ll receive a confirmation text from our salon. This would be the best time to notify us or your stylist if you’d like to reschedule or cancel your service before being charged a rescheduling/cancellation fee 


In the event that you reschedule/cancel your service within 24hrs or less, will result in your card on file being charged a fee or for services that include a non-refundable deposit, your non-refundable deposit will then be forfeited and a new-non refundable deposit must be made to rebook.


Esthetician Services : 50% of service total.

Haircut Services : $50 

Color/Lightening/Specialty Services: $100


Please note that if you contact us after hours to reschedule or cancel your service, your message will not be seen till the following morning at opening.

If for some reason your fee does not go through, it must be paid before being able to book with us in the future.


For services that include a non-refundable deposit: In the event that you reschedule/cancel your service, your non-refundable deposit will be forfeited and a new-non refundable deposit must be made to rebook.
