How Can We Help?

What is a brow lamination?

Eyebrow lamination is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that involves perming the brow hairs to achieve a fuller and more defined look.

This process helps to redirect unruly hairs, giving them a polished finish. Many people find that eyebrow lamination can enhance their natural features by creating the appearance of thicker, more symmetrical brows.

Unlike tattooing or microblading, which entails a long-term commitment, eyebrow lamination is temporary, allowing you to experiment with your brow shape and style without the fear of permanent changes.

How is the procedure done?

The procedure includes cleaning the brows, applying a lifting solution, and shaping the hairs into the desired position.

First, a technician will assess your brow shape and hair type to customize the process for you. The lifting solution softens the hair cuticle, allowing the hairs to be molded into your desired shape. After the shaping, a setting solution is applied to lock the style in place. We combine the second step with a nourishing treatment to hydrate the brow hairs, ensuring they remain healthy and vibrant.

How long does brow lamination last?

Results usually last anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and how you maintain your brows.

After this period, you may notice that your brows begin to return to their natural shape. Regular maintenance can prolong the effect, and some people choose to schedule touch-ups every few weeks to keep their brows looking flawless.

can brow lamination damage my natural brows?

If done correctly and not too frequently (ideally not more than every 6–8 weeks), brow lamination should not damage your brows. Aftercare and nourishing serums are recommended to keep the hairs healthy.

How should i care for my brows?
  1. Avoid wetting the brows for the first 48 hours.
  2. After wetting the brow hairs (after the initial 48 hours) it is necessary to gently brush them back into place.
  3. No make-up removers for the first 48 hours- they may strip the tint or disturb the lamination.
  4. Avoid touching brow hairs- please try to leave them alone as much as possible.
  5. Avoid sleeping on your face or on your side and avoid wearing an eye mask to sleep for at least 48 hours post treatment.
  6. Avoid steam from showers, saunas, dishwashers or ovens- reducing this exposure is recommended wherever possible.
  7. Avoid exfoliation of the skin around the brow area for 48 hours. This includes the use of products like retinols, Vitamin A, AHA's, BHA's, steroid creams, or skin thinning treatments.
  8. The use of a styling product and nourishing product is required to re-establish the position of the hairs after a brow lamination. Our Elleplex Advanced Aftercare doubles as a nourishing and styling product.
