Hi, I’m Maria Mayen Vandehey! I am a licensed cosmetologist, a passionate makeup artist, and the proud owner of my independent makeup studio at Grand Salon Suites. My journey began with a general cosmetology license, but my heart quickly led me to specialize entirely in makeup artistry. Thanks to the incredible feedback and uplifting support of my clients, I found the strength to take the next step and launch my own studio at Grand Salon Suites. 

My beauty career has truly been a global adventure. I have traveled and worked across Central America, South America, and the United States, gaining invaluable, hands-on experience with diverse cultures, ethnicities, and all skin types. To me, makeup is art, and every face is unique.Because I love what I do so deeply, it never feels like a job! I am continuously investing in advanced education to stay on top of the latest industry trends and techniques.

My chair is , inclusive, and welcoming space for everyone. As a fully bilingual artist fluent in both Spanish and English, I love connecting with my clients and ensuring everyone feels comfortable and completely understood. To deliver a luxury experience, I work exclusively with professional, premium products—including trusted lines like MAC, Bobbi Brown, and LimeLife by Alcone.

I offer both traditional and airbrush makeup, delivering a flawless finish tailored to your style. Best of all, every single one of my makeup services includes lashes! I absolutely love what I do, and I hope to see you in my chair very soon.
