Things to Avoid

  1. Consultation Required: A thorough consultation will be conducted before your treatment to discuss your medical history, aesthetic goals, and any concerns.
  2. Avoid Certain Medications: Please avoid blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or fish oil supplements) at least 48 hours before treatment to reduce the risk of bruising. Always check with your GP before stopping any medication.
  3. No Alcohol or Caffeine: Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment to minimize swelling and bruising.
  4. Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Aesthetics treatments are not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  5. Health Conditions: Inform your practitioner if you have any neurological conditions, allergies, or skin infections near the treatment area.
  6. Aftercare: Avoid strenuous exercise, hot baths, saunas, and excessive sun exposure for 24-48 hours after treatment.
  7. No Makeup: Avoid wearing makeup on the treatment area on the day of your appointment.
  8. Expect Minor Side Effects: You may experience mild redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness which typically resolves within a few days.
