Long lasting lashes start with great aftercare. Follow these simple tips to keep your lashes clean, healthy, and looking flawless between fills.

🧼 How to Clean Your Lash Extensions

Yes — you do need to wash them!

Keeping your lashes clean prevents buildup, irritation, and premature shedding.

Here’s how to wash them properly:

🎥 [Watch the Demo Video Here]

Step-by-Step:

  1. Use an oil-free lash cleanser.(Foaming cleansers made specifically for lash extensions are best.)
  2. Dispense a small amount onto a soft brush.
  3. Gently cleanse along the lash line using downward, sweeping motions. Also getting under your lashes to get your lash line.
  4. Rinse with cool water. Squeeze rinse bottles work best.
  5. Pat dry with a lint-free towel.
  6. Brush with a clean spoolie once dry.

✅ Daily Lash Care Do’s

  1. Clean lashes 2x a day. More if you are working out, crying or sweating.
  2. Brush your lashes daily with a clean, dry spoolie.
  3. Sleep on your back to prevent squishing your lashes.
  4. Use silk or satin pillowcases to reduce friction. See recommended products below.

🚫 Lash Don’ts

  1. No oil-based products near your eyes (cleansers, makeup, serums)
  2. Don’t rub, pull, or pick at your lashes. No touching, oils transfer to lashes.
  3. Avoid waterproof mascara or eyeliner. Check below for recommended products.
  4. Don’t use lash curlers or heated lash tools.
  5. Absolutely no strip lashes or mascara over lashes, this will require a full set.
  6. No open flames in front of lash extensions, they are flammable.
  7. Avoid saunas/steam rooms for maximum retention. If you do, wash lashes afterwards.
  8. After crying or sweating, wash your lashes. It maximizes the retention.
  9. Avoid sleeping on face or on side to maximize retention and lash health.
  10. Don't wait too long to book your next fill, outgrown lashes can cause damage to natural lashes due to weight.

Eyeliner: Its recommended to use a water-based eyeliner to avoid damage to lashes, this one is one of my favorites by LBLA.
