Should I arrive with makeup?

Arrive with clean eyes — no eyeliner, mascara, or false lashes as makeup removal takes time and can affect 4+ week retention.

I have makeup wipes if needed, but only your eye area needs to be makeup-free.

Why it matters:

  1. Residue blocks adhesive from bonding fully.
  2. More cleaning = less time to apply lashes.
  3. Clean, dry lashes mean the longest wear possible.

Avoid strip lashes for 3 days before your appointment — leftover glue also hurts retention.

If you arrive with lashes on, i may not be able to proceed with the service or will need to charge a removal fee.

Do I really need lash aftercare products?

I offer aftercare to support your lash retention and health, not to sell you something you don’t need. Clean lashes last longer, feel better, and look better!

Can I use my phone during my lash appointment?

It’s best to avoid phone use during your appointment to prevent chemical burn, this can happen if your eyes open too much during the service. I’m always happy to help you answer or return a call/text, but keeping your phone tucked away until the end ensures your eyes stay comfortable and we maximize your lash time.

Can I have coffee or a drink before my lash appointment?

Drinks like caffeine or alcohol can make your eyes extra sensitive and fluttery, which makes lashing more difficult. Fluttering also increases the chance of glue fumes entering your eyes , which can lead to chemical burn (ouch!).

It’s best to skip all caffeine and alcohol until after your appointment. If you arrive with caffeine in hand, I’ll have to reschedule your service to keep your eyes safe and your lashes perfect.

What should I wear to my lash appointment?

You’ll be lying down with your eyes closed for a few hours, so comfort is key! Wear cozy, non-restrictive clothing. I have blankets available, but you’re welcome to bring your favorite one from home for extra snuggly vibes.

Can we chat during my lash appointment?

I do love a good chat, but I also encourage clients to relax or nap,  it helps me work more efficiently. We typically catch up during prep and washing, then I’ll use headphones for the remainder of the appointment. Don’t worry, I’m always available if needed! You’re welcome to bring your own headphones or request a playlist or podcast for some extra relaxation.

Do I need to book my lash fills on time?

Yes! Fills must be booked on schedule to maintain lash fullness and health.

  1. After 3 weeks, your appointment is considered a full set unless over 40% of lashes remain after removing outgrown extensions.
  2. If you book a fill but need a full set, I’ll only have time to complete a fill so please plan your appointments accordingly.
  3. Pro tip: I recommend booking your next 2 fills in advance (no deposit required for fills), as my books fill up quickly. My schedule is open 2 months ahead, so securing your appointments early helps ensure your lashes stay flawless.

How long will my lash appointment take?

Extensions: A full set takes 3 to 3.5 hours because I take the time to thoroughly lash every healthy natural lash. no shortcuts, no “stickies” (when lashes accidentally stick together during application), and no damage. Lash health comes first, so each set is styled intentionally and applied properly to protect your natural lashes and maximize retention. As well as tailoring the set for your eye shape.

The result? Beautiful, tailored, safe lashes that can last up to 3 weeks before needing a fill. Fills typically take 2 to 2.5 hours and are recommended every 2–4 weeks.

Lifts: A lash lift typically takes 45–75 minutes, depending on your natural lash length and thickness. I take the time to carefully lift and tint each lash for the best results, ensuring your lashes look full, healthy, and beautifully curled.

Can I get lashes if I have sensitive eyes or allergies?

Yes! I work with clients who have sensitive eyes or mild allergies. I can do a patch test if you’re concerned about adhesive reactions, and I use hypoallergenic glue options when needed. Always let me know about any eye conditions, medications, or allergies before your appointment so I can ensure your service is safe and comfortable. We can always do a lash bath after your set to ensure all glue fumes are away before opening your eyes.

Can I get my lashes wet right after the appointment? *lash extensions only*

Yes! I use a bonding solution (bonder) to ensure the adhesive sets properly, so you can get your lashes wet immediately if needed. Just be gentle and avoid soaking them for long periods, this will help maximize retention and keep your lashes looking flawless.

Can I bring my kiddos or guests to my lash aappointment?

For safety and focus, I ask that clients don’t bring kiddos or guests to appointments. This helps me work efficiently and keeps your experience relaxing. Your lashes deserve undivided attention, and this ensures a calm, safe environment for everyone in the studio.

Who should NOT get lash services?

Lash services aren’t recommended if you:

  1. Recently had a lash lift within the past 6 weeks.
  2. Have active eye infections or conditions (e.g., conjunctivitis, styes, blepharitis).
  3. Have extremely sensitive eyes or skin allergies, especially to cyanoacrylate or lash adhesives.
  4. Frequently rub your eyes or sleep face-down.
  5. Wear heavy eye makeup daily and aren’t willing to properly cleanse your lashes.
  6. Have very sparse, weak, or damaged natural lashes, particularly if you pick at them, a lift or extensions may not achieve the desired results.

Tip: Patch tests are always available! It’s recommended to book one 24–48 hours prior to your appointment, better safe than sorry.

Why do you need to keep a card on file?

For full sets, which take 3–4 hours, I require a card on file. This protects my time in case of a no-show, as I can only charge the full service amount if the appointment is missed without notice.

Don’t worry, deposits and balances are still paid via Zelle, cash, or card at checkout. Your card info is never visible to me; it’s securely stored through my booking system. This is a policy to protect both your time and mine.

Why do I need to fill out a consultation form?

Consultation forms help me customize and tailor your lash experience. I send the form after your appointment is booked and your deposit/payment form is completed.

This form lets me get to know you , your lifestyle, habits, and any factors that might affect your lashes. It also helps me guide you on aftercare and make recommendations for the best results. We go over everything in detail during your appointment, but the form gives me a head start in creating the perfect, personalized service for you.
