The Mayari Beauty Athlete Sponsorship Program aims to support athletes who reflect the brand’s values of strength, wellness, and self-confidence. This program is designed to offer professional development, promote athlete self-care, and increase brand visibility through collaboration.
The Inspiration
The inspiration behind this athlete program stems from my own journey in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. When I began training over twelve years ago, I struggled with proper recovery after training sessions and competitions, leading to chronic pain and frequent injuries. As I progressed in the sport, I was fortunate to connect with amazing individuals who introduced me to the world of wellness and self-care. Their guidance ultimately led me to pursue a career in massage therapy. Now, as a way to give back to the Jiu Jitsu community, my goal is to help emerging athletes prioritize their recovery, boost their confidence, and implement effective self-care practices. By doing so, I hope to empower them to perform at their best and minimize the risk of injury, setting them up for long-term success in their careers.

Sarah is a dedicated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu brown belt training at Flow State Jiu Jitsu in Peyton, Colorado. As the instructor for the women’s class at her gym, she is passionate about empowering others through the art of Jiu Jitsu. Sarah has earned multiple wins in prominent competitions, including promotions such as Fight to Win, Main Character Jiu Jitsu, as well as several super fight victories and accolades across various Jiu Jitsu promotions. Her focus on technique, strategy, and mental toughness has made her a respected competitor and mentor in the Jiu Jitsu community. Sarah also proudly represents Mayari Beauty’s values and standards as part of the Athlete Sponsorship Program, embodying strength, wellness, and self-care both on and off the mat.
Anthony Lucca

Anthony is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu brown belt and an MMA fighter currently training at Wilson Bros Brothers Grappling and BJJ Kraken in Colorado Springs, Colorado. An active-duty Air Force member, Anthony has earned multiple wins in various Jiu Jitsu tournaments and currently holds a 2-1 record in amateur MMA. With a strong commitment to both his athletic and professional life, he exemplifies discipline, resilience, and the spirit of continuous improvement. As part of the Athlete Sponsorship Program, Anthony proudly represents Mayari Beauty’s values and standards, embodying strength, self-care, and confidence both on and off the mat.

Mateo is a dedicated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu athlete with a strong foundation in wrestling and MMA. Training out of Isla Jiu Jitsu in Federal Way, he is an up-and-coming competitor with big aspirations of making it as a professional athlete. Mateo’s journey in combat sports has shaped his relentless drive and disciplined work ethic, and he is focused on continuing to improve his skills both on and off the mat. Beyond competition, Mateo is passionate about spreading awareness of the numerous benefits of Jiu Jitsu, from physical conditioning to mental resilience, and aims to inspire others to discover how the sport can transform their lives. With a mindset rooted in perseverance and growth, he strives to be a positive role model, not only for athletes but for anyone seeking personal development through martial arts.
