About The Owner

Hi, I’m Alyssa, the heart behind Sacred Shell Healing. 🐢🩵

Before Sacred Shell Healing ever existed, I spent five years working in law enforcement. That chapter of my life gave me a firsthand look at the ways stress, trauma, grief, and survival can live within us long after a difficult moment has passed. At the same time, I was navigating my own experiences with burnout, overwhelm, and feeling disconnected from myself.

Eventually, I began searching for something softer.

Sound, meditation, somatic practices, time in nature, and spirituality became places where I could slow down enough to hear myself again. They taught me that healing doesn’t always have to look like pushing harder, analyzing everything, or trying to become a completely different person. Sometimes, it begins with feeling safe enough to just rest.

Sacred Shell Healing grew from that realization.

And what began as a dream inside of a bell tent in my backyard has slowly grown into The Turtle’s Cove... A space intentionally created for rest, connection, curiosity, and coming home to yourself.

Today, I’m a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner with additional education in trauma informed holistic practices, somatics, sylvotherapy, childhood trauma, betrayal and nervous system centered approaches.

My experiences have shaped the way I hold space, but I don’t believe I am here to “fix” anyone. I believe you are the expert of your own story. My role is to offer tools, experiences, and a compassionate place to land along the way.

Through sound baths, meditation, somatic practices, intuitive sound and energy work, nature based experiences, circles, and community gatherings, my hope is to create opportunities for you to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and experience moments of genuine peace.

Sacred Shell Healing welcomes people from many different backgrounds, identities, and spiritual beliefs. You do not need to believe a certain way, have experience with holistic wellness, or even know exactly what you need when you arrive. You are allowed to come as you are.

More than anything, I want this space to remind people that healing does not have to be a race. You can move gently, you can take your time, you can rest here.

And whenever you need a safe place to land, there will be a little corner of The Turtle’s Cove waiting for you. 🐢🌊✨
