Meet your Headspanist

I didn’t simply start a scalp spa, I wanted to be a part of something that truly helps others.

My journey began in 2021 when I graduated from Aveda, the Institute of Beauty and Wellness in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A few years into my career, I was introduced to the world of hair restoration and then completed courses in Trichology. I was immediately struck by the depth and impact of this work. Unlike traditional salon services, which often involve routine visits every four to six weeks, hair restoration fostered a deeper connection with clients. Individuals opened up about their life experiences, sharing the stressors and challenges that contributed to the condition of their hair and scalp.

That experience shifted my perspective entirely. I made the intentional decision to place hair styling on the back burner and focus on hair restoration, a decision that has been incredibly rewarding.

This path led me to work with a company that provided advanced training in California. During an immersive, hands-on program, I studied the history of hair, as well as the genetic, lifestyle, and wellness related factors that contribute to various scalp conditions and disorders.

Gaining a deeper understanding of the science behind how our bodies influence hair and skin health was both eye-opening and inspiring.

Upon returning to the salon, I quickly realized how many individuals were experiencing concerns that extended beyond aesthetics. Stress, postpartum changes, illness, and mental burnout were all manifesting through the scalp, yet there were few spaces that addressed these concerns in a truly holistic way.

With my background in trichology and passion for natural, wellness-focused living, I felt called to create something different.

I became deeply committed to designing an experience where clients could not only improve the health of their scalp and hair, but also pause, reset, and feel genuinely cared for. A space where science meets relaxation, and where every treatment is intentional and personalized.

With almost 4 years of being certified in scalp treatments, starting my own scalp spa has allowed me to bring that vision to life. By combining therapeutic techniques, nourishing treatments, and a calming environment that supports both physical and mental well-being.

This is not just about relaxation. It’s about guiding individuals through moments of frustration and uncertainty with their hair and scalp, and helping them reconnect with themselves in the process.
